What makes us happy? According to the article Science of Happiness as published in Time magazine:
Friends.
A 2002 study...found that the most salient characteristics shared by the 10% of students with the
higest level of happiness and the fewest signs of depression were their strong ties to friends and family and committment to spending time with them.
There you go. 'All we need is love', but we need people to partake in it. Who'd of thunk it.
